Wow. Striking image! I think the composition is excellent. I absolutely love the contrast between her soft skin and the hard metal tools as well....There are so many interesting lines and shapes in this image, it's amazing. : )

I'm still not entirely happy with the composition. Obviously there isn't quite the same luxury of time to optimise the composition with an image such as this, when compared with a normal still life! As it is currently displayed this shot is flipped horizontally from the way it was taken, which I do with maybe 20% of what I shoot.

Well I enjoyed the shoot!!! Actually the model contacted me from this site, asking if I'd like to shoot some BDSM images of her, and she only lives 15 minutes drive from me

I suggested the G-clamp for the shot, but she picked up the pliers too! I also have versions where she's turned the pliers through 360+ degrees, but I think that's going beyond art for art's sake!!!
